Will The NFL Allow The Detroit Lions to Play on Thanksgiving?

Is the NFL going to allow the Detroit Lions to play on Thanksgiving anymore?

Even though the Lions are 15-49 in the last 4 years, I think they have to continue a tradition.

I believe the NFL will give the Lions one more year to prove themselves worthy of playing on Thanksgiving.

The NFL will probably say "The Detroit Lions need to get ... wins in the 2009-10 season to continue playing on Thanksgiving."

If that happens, and the Lions don't get the minimum wins needed to continue playing, I will be devastated. Every year for as long as I can remember, the Lions have played on Thanksgiving.

Let it be known that I am 15, but that's still a long time.

So Roger Goodell, if you are listening (or reading, technically), then please continue to let the Lions play on Thanksgiving.

You can't just discontinue a tradition with the snap of your fingers.
