Funny how the Vikings are in yet another bidding war with the Seahawks for a free agent. The rivalry started in 2006 when they signed All Pro G Steve Hutchinson from the team with a "poison pill" contract that would essentially have guaranteed the entire contract had the Seahawks matched. Since that they have played tug of war with Nate Burleson, TJ Houshmandzadeh, Deon Grant, and now Leonard Weaver, over recent years; and I'm pleased all the aforementioned names became Seahawks, at least.

I would not be surprised if Weaver lands in Minnesota, they boast a top offensive line with Bryant Mckinnie, and Steve Hutchinson, and the top young superstar in the league in RB Adrian Peterson.

The Seahawks offer an appealing situation with a new run first me...
