Well, one question for every Patriots fan is, "Will Brady be ready for next season?"
The backups are now Kevin O'Connell (coming into his second year after being selected in the draft) and no-namer Matt Guiterrez. Are we confidant these guys can replace Brady if he is not 100 pecent?
If Brady is not ready for next year, then let's look at possible free agents we could bring in and the current backups.
Matt Guiterrez was signed by New England in 2007 as an undrafted free agent, and he made the team as a third-string quarterback behind current Chief Matt Cassel.
In Guiterrez's career, he has one attemp, one completion, 15 yards, and zero touchdowns. Guiterrez has shown promise in training camp and pre-season.
