For a team that is, by all accounts, in the market for offensive weapons, this denial is puzzling.

Suppose for a moment that Holt is off the table in the Eagles' options. The two most prominent wide receivers that could be trade bait are Arizona's Anquan Boldin and Cleveland's Braylon Edwards.

Boldin's situation in Arizona is very fluid. The reports vary every so often from Arizona keeping him to shopping him. There is an outside chance that Arizona will bite the bullet on this one by dealing Boldin on account of having the most talented wide receiver in the game today, Larry Fitzgerald. 

Count on this situation to change many times over before a conclusion can be reached.

As for Edwards, it is pure speculation. Until Kellen Winslow was dealt to Tampa Bay on the first day of free agency, the possibility of Edwards being traded was climbing.
