I think it would be stupid for the Broncos to trade away Cutler, but they might not have a choice. There are a few teams in the market for a top-10 caliber quarterback like Cutler who could make a play for his services in the coming weeks.
The Lions to me are the best choice for Cutler. A turnaround from 0-16 might not take as long as one would think if they can manage to steal Cutler from the Broncos without surrendering their No. 1 pick
Cutler would have superstar Calvin Johnson to throw the ball to and a good young running back in Kevin Smith. They would then be able to use their first-round pick on an offensive tackle and all the pieces of the offense are nearly in place.
