Time For Romo To Step Out Of T.O.’s Shadow

Well Romo just ran out of excuses. If the 'Boys aren't successful this season the blame will fall on Tony's shoulders. Fair or unfair, that's the life of a QB on "America's Team." 

Already, in his young career, Romo has had moments he would rather forget. The bobbled hold on a potential game-winning field goal at Seattle. The home game against the Giants where the team didn't show. Philadelphia blasting Dallas with the playoffs on the line.

If not for No. 9, Dallas wouldn't have had opportunity to win those games. A moot point for Romo-bashers, who say he can't win the big game. Tony has only been starting for two a half seasons, but already labeled a choker.  

The Cowboys come off a 9-7 season where they missed the playoffs.  Romo did miss three games with that thumb injury, but those losses still somehow get pinned on him.
