Besides the beat down by the Saints, the Pack had pretty close games—seven loses of four or less points, and one of each 11 and nine points. The team also showed some offensive fire power ranking in the top 10 in points, yards, and passing yards (17th in rushing yards) while having two 1,000+ yard wide receivers.

Their concern comes in the form of an unstable defense, besides a few bright spots in the secondary they need some building blocks.

On the defensive line Michael Montgomery is looking to snap a string of unproductive years and find a place in the new 3-4 Caper Defense. Aaron Kampman is also looking to prove he can still be one of the best defense players in the league in this scheme.

If the Pack draft some key players who can make an immediate impact they could turn a couple of those close loses into solid wins ...
