Of course, in a perfect world, Culter and new coach Josh McDaniels could put their differences aside and come to an understanding, and a productive working relationship.

However, this is far from the case.

During the phone call both sides were argumentative, and other sources say the Broncos acted as if it were Cutler who initiated the trade talks. Denver also clarified that they have no interest in trading the young quarterback, although they reserve the right to do just that.

The ball is once again in Culter's court as the Broncos conduct their first offseason training camp next Monday. Cutler has stated that he is not sure whether he will be attending or not.
