Injuries are a reoccurring theme every year, and this year the plot is getting thick pretty early in the story. No one wants to see a guy get hurt. Everyone cringes at the thought of losing a superstar or one of those key players that could shift the destiny of an entire team. Names like Brian Urlacher, Matt Cassel, and Donovan McNabb have appeared on the injury report after week one, and each situation will have a definite impact on their team’s chances to make the playoffs. With Troy Polamalu going down already in Pittsburgh, injuries are and should be on the mind of the Steelers and all who follow them.
