... number one overall. I felt compelled to give my best effort at what I feel the Lions need to do during the 2009 NFL Draft. 

I have ripped other people for their picks, and now it is your turn to get me back if you wish. I had some different players in different spots, but ultimately did not want to sit on the fence. So without further ado, here is who the Lions should take.

 

Round One

No. 1 Aaron Curry, LB, Wake Forest

This guy is an instant starter on a defense with some holes at linebacker. With out a doubt a fan favorite number one selection.  What he can bring to this defense, no one else in this draft class can.  His athleticism, and nose for the ball are a great addition for the Detroit front seven.

 

No. 20 William Beauty, OT, UCONN
