Even though the stadium is new, and is in a different city that yet again is not Dallas, Texas- some old traditions with be upheld. The memory of Texas Stadium plays a large role in the look and feel of the new diggs.
There's still going to be a hole in the roof, albeit a retractable one. So God will still be able to watch His favorite team play. Just as long as he provides the metroplex with sunshine, a reasonable lack of searing Texas heat, and no chance of precipitation.
Along with the similar shape of the architecture, the new Cowboys' stadium will have, of course, The Ring of Honor.
The Ring currently has 17 members including 15 players, former head coach Tom Landry, and long time general manager Tex Schramm.
As great as it is, the Ring of Honor has a tainted past.
For example, it is a bit embarassing when the Hall of Fame inducts former Cowboys before we can find the time to honor them as a franchise...
