... we love, but this last season, well, everything kind of broke down.

First, I must say that I loved the results of the season, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better season.

OK, but now to be neutral.

The 2008 season broke almost everything we've come to expect from the NFL. We saw seven teams reach the playoffs that just a year earlier couldn’t even get above the .500 mark. That is ridiculous! That means that just over half the playoff teams from 2008 were not there in 2007.

Two of those teams were the Atlanta Falcons and the Miami Dolphins who had third and first overall picks in the NFL Draft, respectively.

This is in no way logical. How many people wrote off the Falcons and Dolphins last year?
