The acquisition of quarterback Jay Cutler has made an impression on the NFL schedule makers. Maybe it was their curiosity about the Bears' new signal caller, or they were simply playing to the Chicago Bears' nationwide fan base, but the Bears have been given the nod in five prime-time games this season.

The Bears' first regular season game is on prime-time in Green Bay. This should be an excellent game, as it will be a matchup of two of the premier quarterbacks, if not the only, in the NFC North. Green Bay’s Aaron Rodgers stepped into the starter’s role after the shenanigans surrounding Brett Favre subsided, and he played admirably.
