The Bears need a wide receiver opposite Devin Hester. And the best way to accomplish that right now is by pursuing a free agent wideout, such as Plaxico Burress.
I know, I know, Plaxico is facing possible jail time and/or suspension from Commish Roger Goodell, but Plax is exactly what new QB Jay Cutler needs on the other side of Dev. A big, physical receiver who can go up and pick the ball out of the air. Plus, if he comes in at week eight of the season, assuming he is suspended for eight weeks, it will allow Cutler to get used to Devin and Forte and maybe another free agent/rookie wide receiver.
