Oakland Raiders: 2009 NFL Draft Scenarios

... Draft, which the Oakland Raiders currently hold. I have concluded four scenarios, with one being the most realistic and most likely to happen, in my opinion, to four, being the least likely to happen.

Scenario 1:

Detroit Lions: Matthew Stafford QB Georgia

St. Louis Rams: Jason Smith OT Baylor

Kansas City Chiefs: Aaron Curry LB Wake Forest

Seattle Seahawks: Michael Crabtree WR Texas Tech

Cleveland Browns: Brian Orakpo DE/OLB Texas

Cincinnati Bengals: Eugen Monroe OT Virginia

Oakland Raiders: Andre Smith OT Alabama

This selection will come as head coach Tom Cable desires to anchor the offensive line unit, and Andre Smith can be plugged in as a starter at RT from day one. People may argue though, that he's not a fit for the ZB's used in Oakland, but Tom Cable will think he can whip him into shape.

Scenario 2:

Detroit Lions: Jason Smith OT Baylor
