His senior season was his finest, as Brown rushed for 767 yards and seven touchdowns.

He is tall and thick in his upper and lower body, and is a strong, straight-ahead runner. Brown is also agile enough to side-step and find a running lane.

Brown lowers his pads to run over tacklers, keeps his legs churning in short-yardage situations, and will carry linebackers and safeties for a few yards before being taken down.

He is able to stand up to blitzing linebackers, and possesses skills to be a productive pass-catcher against mis-matched safeties in the open field.

A few knocks come to mind, however, as Brown tends to run tall and he also lacks elite speed, thus he needs a few steps to get going. His catching ability is somewhat inconsistent out of the backfield, and he tends to rely on body-catches too often.
