... after a falling out with owner Pat Bowlen and new head coach Josh McDaniels.

McDaniels attempted to trade Cutler for QB Matt Cassel.  Cassel was with McDaniels in New England.  Cutler has apparently stopped returning text messages and ignored attempts to repair the relationship.

So what are the possible destinations for the disgruntled signal-caller?

The New York Jets are in the market for a quarterback after the retirement of Brett Favre.  Cutler might not be the best fit in New York due to its brutal media.  Cutler is more of a big fish in a small pond after starring at Vanderbilt.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers need a pass-thrower too.  They let Jeff Garcia go after last season.  They also traded for TE Kellen Winslow, and Cutler would be another improvement for that offense.
