Holt would be perfect on the roster of the Chicago Bears.
First, the negatives. Holt will be 33 in June, and has played his entire career on a pass-happy team in a dome. He's never been a fantastic cold-weather receiver.
Now, the positives. Holt had 64 catches on a train wreck of an offense last year and still has good years left in his legs. He's also not ancient at 33, and would be a good fit to compliment the Bears existing offensive pieces of Devin Hester, Greg Olsen and Matt Forte.
The problems with adding Holt are two fold: one, the Bears might be further from championship-level football than Holt wants at this stage in his career, and two, Bears' GM Jerry Angelo doesn't know how to offer contracts to good free agents.
