His agent Harold Lewis reports there are as many as five teams who have fielded offers for the versatile fullback, but would only go on record saying the Eagles and Vikings were among the teams in pursuit.

How ironic, the Vikings are in yet another bidding war with the Seahawks for a free agent.

The rivalry started in 2006 when they signed All-Pro guard Steve Hutchinson from the team with a "poison pill" contract that would essentially have guaranteed the entire seven-year $49 million contract had the Seahawks matched. (which they should have done, just to spite them :)))  )

Since then they have played tug of war with Nate Burleson, TJ Houshmandzadeh, Deon Grant, and now Leonard Weaver, over recent years; and I'm pleased all the aforementioned names became Seahawks, (hopefully Weaver too).

I would not be surprised if Weaver lands in Minnesota, they boast a top offensive line with Bryant Mckinnie, and Steve Hutchinson, and the to...
