Well, as Lee Corso would say "not so fast my friend". You can get quite a gem in the late rounds if you are an astute draftnik. After all, Tom Brady (pictured left) was taken in the 6th round (pick 199) of the 2000 NFL Draft and I think he's done alright for himself. Don't you?
So, who else was a late round gem that became a big time player for his team?
I've limited my draft research to 25 years and left Brady out of the slideshow because by now we all know about his exploits. A little shout to fellow bleacher creature, Joshua J, for giving me the idea for this one. Thanks.
