How can the Chiefs rebuild their fanbase so we can avoid these blackouts? Here are three main ways to sell tickets.
1. Here is the most obvious way, WIN! Assuming the Chiefs lose out and finish at a whopping 3-13, the Chiefs would have lost 39 games in three seasons, which is worst in the NFL.
If the Chiefs can just give a sliver of hope they will sell out the stadium. They have plenty of fans, but nobody wants to spend that kind of money in this economy to watch a horrible football team play.
2. Draft somebody that could become a fan favorite. Last year's draft was pitiful. They took Tyson Jackson, who was a major reach and has been well below average so far, and after that the only player that sees much playing time is the kicker they took with the last pick in the draft, Ryan Succop, who has been the best pick so far.
