Joey Galloway Signs One-Year Deal with New England Patriots

After being released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 37-year old wide receiver Joey Galloway signed a one-year contract with the New England Patriots on Saturday. The Patriots will be his fourth team in 14 seasons in the NFL. 

Galloway is coming off one of his worst seasons in the league after struggling with injuries throughout last season (nine games, 13 receptions, 138 yards, zero touchdowns).

However, he has shown us in the past he is capable of being one of the most dangerous wide receivers in the league. From 2005-2007, Galloway recorded over 3,300 yards receiving and 23 touchdowns.

As long as he can stay healthy, Galloway has the potential to put up similar numbers from a few years ago in New England. If Tom Brady is healthy and most defenses focus on defending wide receivers Randy Moss and Wes Welker, Galloway gives the Patriots another solid option to thr...
