... ESPN, Herm Edwards stated that Cutler needs to realize that this is just a business.

Players are traded all the time, and Cutler really hasn't proven to me that he is immune.

Cutler was drafted by the Broncos 11th overall in the 2006 NFL draft.

In three seasons with the team, he has put up good numbers, with 37 starts, 9,024 yards passing, and 54 touchdowns with 37 interceptions.

Not bad at all—that's an average of 3,008 yards passing each year.

Mike Shanahan decided to start Cutler in 2006, stating," He gives us a better chance of winning now."

Well, under Cutler the Broncos are 25-24, with none of those seasons resulting in a playoff berth.

So what leverage does Cutler have with the team?

If I had that kind of production as a quarterback, I would have been either traded or released by now.

Even if the Broncos did trade him away, who would they have left to lead their team?
