J. Russell came out of College as a Jr., and had never taken a snap from under center while in College. Add in the waisted Lane Kiffin year, during Russell's Rookie year, and it was clear that J. Russell would have his work cut out for him.

During the 2008 year, once Coach Cable started to settle in from taking over for fired Coach Lane Kiffen, Russell started to show why the Oakland Raiders drafted him with the first pick of the Draft.

I am going to take a look at the last six regular season games that he played in 2008 to see how he stacked up against other starting Quarterbacks around the NFL.

JaMarcus went 3-3 over the last six games that he played, and finished the last two games of the season with wins against the Texans and Tampa Bay. Russell had a completion percentage of 64.6 percent over these six games.
