I'll be the first to say that it might be a bit of a disappointment that his new home will not be Indianapolis.
Torry Holt has long been one of the very best receivers in the game. You just might not know it, because he was not cut from the same mold of players like Terrell Owens, Randy Moss, or Chad Ocho Cinco.
Instead, Torry Holt has been more of a quiet producer and if productivity were his job, then I would say that he should be entitled to a raise more so than a cut.
Yet professional football is a buisiness, and I'm sure the Rams felt it was about time to cut ties with their long-time playmaker.
When I heard news of his release, daydreams of seeing Torry Holt run around catching touchdown passes from Peyton Manning began to dance around in my head.
