... course the first one that comes to mind is Chris Carter. Then there is Randy Moss and Anthony Carter.

Our best running backs (besides AP) include Chuck Foreman, who was also a very good receiver and Robert Smith, who was the first 1000 yard back since Foreman.

Our best QB ever was easily Fran Tarkenton. Second was probably Randall Cunningham. Third is Culpepper.

In my opinion, the only player that I have named that could compete with Peterson is Tarkenton.

To make it clear I am just saying that he has the potential to be the best ever for the Vikes, I am not saying that he is.

AP also has the potential to be possibly the best RB ever, that is a long shot but you never know.

He ran away with the rookie of the year award in 2007, in a season that included his 296 yard record-breaking performance against the San Diego Chargers.

In 2008 he might not have dominated some games the way he did in 2007, but he was more consiste...
