... finally have to rebuild.  Get rid of Andy Reid and Donovan McNabb and start over. 

Fast forward four months and it is another offseason after another NFC Championship disappointment.

Most fans assumed the Eagles would bring back older veterans and attempt to add a few pieces to make one last run.  That has not been the case so far. 

All-time Eagle Brian Dawkins, gone.  All-time Eagle Tra Thomas, gone.  All-time Eagle Jon Runyan, not gone yet, but looks to be on the way out.

The team has looked to get younger and deeper in the secondary.  They are in a state of flux on the offensive line.   Without much flair in free agency, it is time to evaluate every area of the Eagles’ 2008 performance, and assess where it is likely to go in 2009.

It’s always good to start at the top.  Let’s take a look ...
