Jay Cutler has indirectly helped Chicago in a lot of ways. First of all, he has saved the Bears from another bad season. Because of the trade for Cutler, the Bears seem to be the best team in the NFC North.
Also, the trade for Cutler has made the Bears a top contender for an NFC championship. In addition, Cutler is probably going to get one other big name wide receiver to come to Chicago, or maybe make one rookie wide receiver that the Bears draft into a star.
Cutler has also been helping out other teams in Chicago as well. The Bulls have been playing some amazing basketball since Cutler's arrival. They are 3-0, averaging about 108 points per game while picking up a quality win over a great 76ers team.
