Cutler Deal Hits Jackpot For Bears

For Chicago fans, it was more of a wait and pray period that the team did something in the draft, and that was it. 

Yet now team GM Jerry Angelo has finally answered the call, making a deal that sends quarterback Kyle Orton, two first round picks, and a third round pick to Denver in exchange for the highly touted All-Pro Jay Cutler.  Some would argue that the asking price was way too high for someone who cried his way out of the Rocky Mountains, but to all the pessimists I say this: SO WHAT?!?!?!?

The move instantly makes the Bears a contender and almost certainly the best in a weak NFC North Division.  Cutler posses the physical and mental attributes that are what Chicago quarterbacks have been missing since the Sid Luckman days.  What may be the biggest shocker of all, even though the need was obviously there, it seemed the team did not have enough to offer, clearly not the case.
