He says that he wants a guy who has command of his huddle and a guy who can read a defense. It isn't always the guy with the strongest arm. That I understand and I totally agree with.

What I don't understand is why it takes him longer than 10 seconds to figure it out. All he has to do is play back the video of Derek Anderson getting cheered as he suffered a career-ending injury.

I am not saying it is right for the fans to do that, but it is what it is.

If that isn't enough, why doesn't he play all the game film of Anderson running a two minute drill. Also, look at all the disorganization in the huddle.

His high number of interceptions indicate that he clearly can't read a defense. To me that disqualifies him. I wouldn't even want him on the team at this point, let alone competing for a starting job.
