Round 1- Darrius Heyward-Bey, WR Maryland. 6'2", 210 lbs. 4.30 40-yard dash, 38.5 inch vertical jump.

The Bears fill their No. 1 need here at wide receiver. DHB was the top performer in the 40-yard dash and vertical jump at the combine. Threat to score at all times. Probably be double-teamed a lot due to speed and will help other receivers get open as well. 

Has inconsistent hands sometimes also. The Bears will have a true No. 1 receiver and they pick the wide receiver in this draft with the most potential. The Bears can also go with Nicks or Britt here too, but if Maclin falls to us then I'd expect us to take him no sweat. The Bears may even go Josh Freeman here but I highly doubt it.

Round 2- Phil Loadholt RT Oklahoma 6'8", 332 lbs. 26 bench reps. They fill their offensive line problem here. He is a pancake blocker that can open holes for Forte. Solves the offensive line position fills the right tackle s...
