Breaking Down the Jets Quarterbacks: Do We Need Jay Cutler?

In preparation for the draft, I am going to go through each of the positions on the roster and examine what they currently have, who they could add through free agency, and who they could potentially draft.

Today, I will look at the quarterbacks, because of the news that Jay Cutler is officially on the trading block:

 

Current Quarterbacks on the Jets Roster:

 

1. Kellen Clemens—If you had to say there was a front runner at this point in the Jets quarterback battle, it would have to be Clemens.

He has eight starts under his belt, all of which took place during the 2007 season. When given the chance to play, Clemens has been inconsistent, mixing some impressive deep throws with stretches of inaccuracy, and happy feet in the pocket.

He was drafted to be the quarterback of the future and has never had a chance to play behind ...
