... Panthers Select...Ron Brace.

Ron Brace is 6-foot-3, 324 pounds, Senior out of Springfield, MA.

Brace attended Boston College the last four years and was considered the second Defensive Tackle while playing beside of B.J. Raji.

Ron Brace is a Monster of a interior lineman with a good first step off the ball for his size. He can devour blockers on the inside and does a nice job of handling the point of attack. Brace knows how to handle double teams and he possesses good flexibility for his size along with long arms and a good rip move to relinquish off the shoulder of the opponent.

Ron Brace although he does have a good upside he does have a couple of weaknesses.

He was never the center of attention on the Boston College defense and never faced consistent double-teams. Brace needs to keep his weight in check. He lacks great mobility and isn’t expected to be much of a pass rush threat at the next level.
