The NFC East will be a shootout again this coming season. The Redskins and Giants were active in free agency, the Cowboys ditched T.O., and the Eagles had one of the best drafts in the NFC if not the NFL. This season will be very fun to watch

Help Is on the Way for Vikings: Favre Is Back—Again

Yes, it’s official.

Brett Favre is coming back.

He is expected to be at Vikings training camp in July. According to WCCO in Minneapolis they have already agreed to a contract and the equipment manager has ordered No. 4 jerseys with Favre’s name on it.

There are some questions that will probably be answered before the end of this season.

Is his arm really healed? Is this really an improvement for the Vikes? Is he going to separate himself from the team again?

This move will likely take pressure off Adrian Peterson who helped lead the Vikings to the playoffs despite an awful passing offense.

Tarvaris Jackson was the starter in Weeks One and Two, but then the spot was handed to Gus Frerotte. Jackson ended the year with nine touchdowns and two interceptions while Frerotte recorded 12 touchdowns and 15 interceptions. In the playoffs, Jackson started in the wild card round in a loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

With Favre behind center, I beleive that the Vikings will see improvement from both Sidney Rice and Bernard Berrian and should win the NFC North.
