Minnesota Vikings Finalize Deals With Karl Paymah and Glenn Holt

The Vikings signed former Cincinnati Bengal Glenn Holt to a one-year deal. Holt went un-drafted in the 2006 draft. He was signed in the preseason before the '06 season. He only caught one pass in his rookie year.

Last year he caught three balls for a total of 26 yards and one touchdown. These numbers are pretty awful because he specializes in kick returns. Last year he had 1,100 kick and punt return yards.

The Vikings need a true presence returning the ball. He's 6'1" and is only 24 years old. He could become a stud returner for Minnesota. Hopefully, he has the opposite destiny than that of Maurice Hicks, who was expected to be a great returner last year when the Vikings signed him. He has since been cut.

Minnesota also signed former Denver Broncos cornerback Karl Paymah. The former star at Washington State has 89 career tackles along with three interceptions. He rarely saw...
