Torry Holt Released by Rams, Where Will He Go?

The move, along with the earlier release of Orlando Pace, saves the Rams $14 million in cap room for the upcoming season.

Holt can probably still be a very productive receiver in the NFL.

Last season was the first year since 1999 that Holt did not record over 1,000 yards, and that can mostly be blamed on a horrible offensive line that couldn't protect Trent Green and Marc Bulger.

Anytime a receiver is on the market, the Eagles will be the first name to pop up, as they have been all offseason. I wouldn't be surprised to see Donovan McNabb blog about it any day now.

Holt would be a nice complement to DeSean Jackson and would give Philadelphia the receiving corps they've longed for since the departure of Terrell Owens.

Other teams will also come calling.

The Jets would be a logical fit, although they have apparently...
