Shanahan would not need a large role in the organization, but it would be a nice gesture of the commitment the Redskins have for Cutler. This would be similar to what the Dallas Cowboys were looking to do with Dan Reeves. Shanahan has proven to be a winner and would be an asset to the Redskin organization, regardless of his role.
