Now imagine having to slam an entire bag of Sour Patch Kids immediately after.

That is what it was like to be an Eagles fan in January. Watching the Eagles lose the NFC Championship Game for the fifth time in a decade was plenty enough to leave a bitter taste in every Philadelphian's mouth, with or without lemons and candy.

Nonetheless, Philadelphia has rebounded. Its sights are locked in on 2009 and the prospects of capturing the franchise's first-ever Super Bowl.

Will it happen? Will Donovan McNabb and Brian Westbrook capture that elusive crown? Are the additions of Jason Peters, Jeremy Maclin and LeSean McCoy enough to catapult this team over the top not just in the NFC, but in all the NFL?

Well, it certainly doesn't hurt to ask.
